You can consider how the venue you use impacts your curated programme. How does the choice of space influence who attends? How does it influence audience experiences? How does it speak to the films shown?

As part of a festival programme we paired artists with curators, as the artwork themes spoke to the film programmes. The event was entitled collaborative constellations.     

This little zine was created for an event entitled Sporophytes which highlighted the importance of biodiversity and seed sharing. At the end of the screening audiences were given a zine and seed packet to support their journey of seed sowing. The event was curated by Leo Torre Barral. 

This was a screening of a women's centred film 'Stitching Palestine' in Glasgow Women's Library - pairing the venue and film themes. Curated in collaboration with Film Lab Palestine

This image is taken from a dine-and-view event entitled, Flavours of Iraq. The event takes its name from the title of the film screened 'Flavours of Iraq' (Léonard Cohen & Feurat Alani, France 2018), which weaves together animated short stories that reference Iraq’s flavours and hospitality. The screening was preceded by a meal which celebrates these dishes, using the animations as inspiration for the menu. This event was curated by Luna Issa.  Image by Najma Abukar.

This screening was collaboratively curated by Milo Clenshaw and Maria Wrang-Rasmussen. They showed (Tending) (To) (Ta), a feature film by artist filmmaker April Lin 林森 at Bonjour (a bar in Glasgow) this was followed by a newly-commissioned performance by the artist.
